Is God, a Noun or verb?
“(in Christianity and other monotheistic religions) the creator and ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority; the supreme being.”
“(in certain other religions) a superhuman being or spirit worshiped as having power over nature or human fortunes; a Deity?”
“The noun ‘god’ can be used as either a proper or common noun. It is a proper noun when it refers to the deity. Names of all deities are proper nouns and are capitalized. ‘God’ can also be used as a common noun when it simply refers to any deity in general.”
Unfortunately, Many People Don’t Believe in God? Others only call Upon Him, when in need of Dire Help? Some Believe that God is man- made?
Ultimately, “God, is not a force who acts on the world through coercion, violence or the suspension of physics and free will. Instead, God is something that we participate in. God is a verb, an action we bring to the world to make love, justice, mercy, joy and goodness known.”

In Matthew 16, Jesus asks what good it is for a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul (Matthew 16:26). To gain the whole world is to receive all the world has to offer — money, fame, pleasure, power, prestige, etc. To lose one’s soul is to die without a right relationship with Christ and spend an eternity in the lake of fire.
“There is nothing more valuable than a person’s soul. To trade that away is the epitome of foolishness. When a person chooses to embrace this world instead of heaven, he is forfeiting his soul. If a person rejects Christ for the sake of anything in this life, he will lose his soul.”
